The 5th Street Church of God in West Palm Beach, Florida, mourns the passing of Bishop Howard Rolle, its absent pastor. Bishop Rolle had been away from the pulpit for several weeks before informing his congregation of his absence and the reasons behind it. After a month, he appointed an interim pastor and assistant pastor without providing any explanation for his prolonged absence. Despite this, he continued to receive his weekly compensation, which was not supported by the local congregation. The State Administrative Bishop, Anthony T. Pelt, Sr., finally visited the church on November 2, 2025, but still failed to provide an explanation for the pastor’s absence. Tragically, after 18 weeks on no information, Bishop Rolle passed away on November 11, 2025, leaving the church without pastoral leadership.
