  • Stillness, Cycles and the Wisdom Within with May Cheung
    Dec 17 2025

In today’s episode, I’m joined by May Cheung, founder and licensed holistic practitioner behind Calma Healing Space.

May is a licensed acupuncturist and fully insured member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, with over two decades of experience supporting women through some of the most powerful transitions of their lives, particularly fertility and menopause.

May’s work weaves together traditional East Asian medicine, modern scientific understanding, and a deeply intuitive, attuned presence. Her approach reminds us that healing isn’t something that happens in isolation or through one modality alone , it’s about understanding the body as a whole, honouring its natural rhythms, and creating space for stillness, listening, and wisdom to emerge.

In this conversation, we explore why massage can only take us so far, how the body is deeply interconnected, and why ancestral wisdom still has so much to teach us , especially when it comes to menopause. We talk about yin and yang energy, individual experiences of transition, blending science with deep intuition, and what it means when your training hasn’t just been something you studied, but something you’ve lived.

This is a rich, honest conversation about confidence in your work, trusting embodied knowledge, and remembering that wisdom doesn’t only come from certificates, it comes from experience, presence, and being truly attuned to life and those you serve.

  • Behind the Humour: A Conversation with Roger Wilson Crane
    Dec 10 2025

On the podcast Today, I’m joined by someone whose journey into creativity, honesty, and self-expression is as compelling as the stories he writes. Roger Wilson Crane rediscovered his passion for writing later in life, a spark that first appeared when he wrote and directed a school play at just fourteen, but truly reignited in 2020 when encouraged by his wife Victoria, finally gave himself permission to become the creative he’d always wanted to be.

That decision led to his debut novel, Certified, published in 2021. The book not only became a Amazon bestseller, it went on to win multiple awards, including the prestigious 2021 International CIBA Mark Twain Grand Prize for Humour and Satire and a Bronze Medal in the 2022 Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards.

It's a conversation filled with honesty, heart, resilience, and the courage it takes to tell your truth. I’m so excited to share it with you.

  • Healing, Learning and Leading Differently: A Conversation with Gary Sheader
    Dec 4 2025
In today’s episode, I’m joined by Gary Sheader,, Founder and Managing Director of The Manufacturers Alliance, and a facilitator of transformational leadership development and meaningful change.Gary’s work centres on bringing people together in honest, human ways and our conversation together does exactly that.We explore what it means to celebrate men and move toward truly inclusive leadership, where everyone feels seen and supported. Gary shares his own experiences of growing up with unspoken expectations, and how that shaped his understanding of identity, responsibility, and what it means to “be a man” in today’s world. We talk about the urgent need to invest in men’s mental health, and the pressures, both societal and internal, that affect men and women differently, yet leave many of us with a similar sense of disconnection.Gary speaks openly about trauma, entering therapy, and his commitment to paying it forward by learning as much as he can to help others and the importance of understanding yourself, and the grounding power of retreats, rituals, and creating safe spaces. This is a conversation about being human:about the philosophies that help us make sense of life, the courage it takes to look inward, and the deep connection that becomes possible when we do.
