    Aug 16 2026

Every journey has a final chapter.

In the concluding episode of The Constitutional Compass, we explore Part XXII of the Constitution of India, which deals with its short title, commencement, authoritative Hindi text, and the repeal of colonial laws that once governed India.

While this is the shortest Part of the Constitution, it marks the constitutional transition from colonial rule to a sovereign democratic republic, where authority flows from "We, the People of India."

As we conclude this series, we also reflect on the significance of the Constitution, the responsibilities it places upon every citizen, and the remarkable journey of understanding India's supreme law, one Part at a time.

Thank you for being a part of The Constitutional Compass. I hope this series has helped make the Constitution more accessible, engaging, and meaningful.
