The challenges triggered by the pandemic led to global supply chain disruption. Subsequent financial and geo-political upheaval resulted in, amongst others, high energy costs and rising inflation labour costs. A recipe for disruption in any sector, but particularly the automotive sector, which has been experiencing fundamental change.
