Episode 8 of Everton View Podcast Bonus Pod sees Sean react to Everton’s frustrating 2-2 draw away at Hull City and discuss a major development off the pitch.

First, we look back at the game itself, where Everton came from behind to lead but were unable to find a winner. There’s reaction to the performance, the key moments and what the result says about where this Everton side currently stands.

There’s also plenty to say about VAR after Everton had another goal ruled out for a subjective offside — sparking a wider discussion about the system, the consistency of decisions and whether football is any better for it.

Finally, attention turns to the Friedkins after they announced their decision to sell Everton. We discuss what that means for the club, why the decision has been made and what could come next.
