  • PostUp: Deep-sixed by USF, losing streak at 6
    Feb 16 2026

More late heartbreak. With the losing streak now at 6, FAU's margin for standings errors has become smaller and smaller and all but dried up. With the Owls on the precipice of being on the outside looking in for a bid into the conference tournament, FAU suffered another "what if?" on Sunday in the overtime defeat to USF. Late errors, missed free throws, inopportune turnovers and not enough stops once again. A familiar script. Ken LaVicka & Damon Arnette cover it all, including a sobering reality...FAU is trending towards missing the American Conference Tournament. How does this get fixed and what does the rest of the schedule look like to try to salvage the season? The guys dive in.

  • PostUp: Owls too ill, too injured at Memphis
    Jan 30 2026

The loss at USF? You tip your cap to a good team on its home floor. The loss at Memphis? You were short-handed unlike we've ever seen at FAU, but it lends to bigger, broader questions. No longer in first place, Ken LaVicka discusses the injury to Kanaan Carlyle, Devin Vanterpool's bout with the flu, Maxim Logue's troublesome ankle and a sudden rash of health concerns emerging right at the midway point of the conference season...and some tricky decisions that loom.

    Jan 16 2026

It was over and it was over early. Ken LaVicka & Damon Arnette discuss Florida Atlantic's beatdown of Wichita State, including another prolific shot-blocking performance (9!). The guys explain the overall evolution of Devin Williams (not just the rim protecting) following his first career double-double and chat about the Owls' easily overcoming an offensive off-night from Devin Vanterpool. In addition, a look into what is making Kanaan Carlyle & Isaiah Elohim so successful, how well the defense is rounding into form, how challenging the next 3 weeks are shaping up to be and an important discussion about the quality of Philly Cheesesteaks.
