In this teaching, “Becoming a House of Prayer: Living Stones, Holy Fire, and the Ancient Path of Intercession,” we return to the burden of Jesus: “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” This teaching calls the Church beyond prayer meetings and ministry activity into becoming a consecrated habitation for the presence of God.
Through passages such as Isaiah 56:7, Matthew 21:12–13, 1 Peter 2:4–5, Romans 8:26–27, and James 1:27, this episode confronts the compromise that turns sacred space into religious performance. Jesus cleanses what He intends to inhabit, and His cleansing exposes where we have celebrated gifts while neglecting holiness, justice, mercy, and obedience.
This message calls believers back to the ancient path of prayer, repentance, intercession, and shared life. A true house of prayer is formed by living stones, sons and daughters who carry God’s heart for the widow, orphan, fatherless, poor, stranger, broken, and lost. From personal cleansing to corporate habitation, God is building a people who become sacred space in their city, region, and territory.
