The Bears Are Going All the Way?! Spider-Man, Endgame & Avengers: Doomsday with Dante | The Higher Call

The Chicago Bears are rolling, Spider-Man is swinging, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe is getting ready for its next big chapter!

Dan Satterfield welcomes Dante to The Higher Call for a fun conversation covering Chicago Bears football, Marvel superheroes, and everything we're anticipating from Avengers: Doomsday.

We kick things off with some camping stories, Chicago pizza talk, and a Bears update. Dante explains why he believes Chicago has what it takes to make a Super Bowl run.

Then we dive into **Spider-Man: Brand New Day**, discussing Jean Grey, the Punisher, Peter Parker's relationships, and our favorite moments from the movie.

We also revisit **Avengers: Endgame Encore**, talk about the added scenes, and debate whether Marvel will ever top that unforgettable portal scene.

Finally, we look ahead to **Avengers: Doomsday**, including Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Steve Rogers' return, the multiverse, and what Marvel might have planned next.

Halloween, Sermon Clock & The Church Christmas Play | The Higher Call Podcast

What happens when you combine Halloween in Laureate Park, a mysterious church countdown clock, and a little Christmas play controversy? You get a special Costume Night edition of The Higher Call!

Dan is joined by cohost Tatum for a fun, family-friendly conversation covering Halloween traditions, trick-or-treating strategies, church humor, and the surprisingly entertaining world of Sermon Clock.

We discuss what Halloween is like in Lake Nona's Laureate Park, costume plans, navigating crowded neighborhoods, and what happens when Florida rain threatens trick-or-treating.

Then it's time for Sermon Clock! What is it? Why does Tatum love it so much? How many people actually look at the countdown clock during a sermon? And could the Sermon Clock Club (SCC) become the next big thing in church culture?

We also discuss the upcoming church Christmas play, serious auditions, callbacks, and the controversy surrounding why certain people apparently aren't being invited to participate. 😂

Plus, Halloween candy favorites, future Marvel costumes, and plenty of laughs along the way.

Whether you're a sports fan, a churchgoer, a parent, or someone who just appreciates a little church humor, there's something here for you!
