  • Ingenious Wickedness: Judges 21
    Feb 23 2026

Judges 21 recounts the tragic aftermath of Israel’s civil war against Benjamin, as the nation realizes one of its own tribes is on the verge of extinction. Bound by a reckless oath not to give their daughters in marriage to the surviving Benjaminites, the Israelites attempt to solve the crisis through further violence and moral compromise, attacking Jabesh - Gilead to seize young women and later permitting the abduction of women from Shiloh. Rather than seeking the Lord in repentance, they rely on human schemes that only deepen the chaos. The book closes with its sobering refrain: “In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes,” underscoring the spiritual disorder of the time and pointing to the desperate need for righteous, godly leadership.

  • When God Gives Us What We Choose: Judges 2: 6-23
    Feb 18 2026

In Judges 2:6–23, we see the heartbreaking turning point in Israel’s story, a new generation rises that does not know the Lord or remember His mighty works. As the people abandon God and chase after idols, a tragic cycle begins: rebellion, oppression, crying out, and rescue. Yet even in Israel’s unfaithfulness, God’s mercy remains evident as He raises up judges to deliver them. This passage reveals both the seriousness of spiritual forgetfulness and the patience of a faithful God who continues to pursue His people despite their repeated failures. Join us as we explore the warning, the hope, and the call to remain rooted in remembrance, obedience, and covenant faithfulness in every generation.

  • The Battle Belongs to Lord: Joshua 6: 1-20
    Feb 9 2026

Imagine staring at a problem so big it feels permanent. Not just a hurdle, more like a wall. And everybody around you is living as if it’ll never move. That’s Joshua 6. Israel is finally in the land… and their first obstacle is Jericho, sealed up, locked down, built to intimidate. But God doesn’t hand them a smarter version of human strength. He hands them obedience that looks foolish to the world: marching, silence, trumpets… then one loud shout. And when the walls fall, it’s clear: this wasn’t their victory story, it was God’s. And the same Lord who brought walls down then still meets us in the battles we can’t win on our own. Let’s open the text.”
