THE LAND ROVERS: A HISTORY HUNTING PODCAST
Episode 34. THE MILL AND THE FORT

Hidden along a quiet stretch of the River Gipping lies a landscape packed with secrets.

In this episode the boys are granted rare access to explore two historic landmarks of Suffolk’s past: a mysterious medieval mill and one of the country's most important Roman forts - Combretovium.

Battling nettles, mud, and curious farm animals, they push deep into the landscape and get a shock... in more ways than one.

THE LAND ROVERS: A HISTORY HUNTING PODCAST
    Episode 31. Iron Age Gold

Spring is in the air, everything is bathed in sunlight and looks a little golden - even that suspicious metal edge in the dark clay...

In this stunning episode George and Paul return to a field that was home to a Roman farm some 2,000 years ago. This time though, the boys scramble through the hedgerow to explore the greener grass on the other side and what they discover rewrites the landscape in the most spectacular way possible.

THE LAND ROVERS: A HISTORY HUNTING PODCAST
