About this listen

Welcome to The Launchpad, hosted by Gabriel Hardie—a father, entrepreneur, and seasoned psychonaut.

Originally the name of my college trap house where I facilitated DMT experiences and dispersed various psychedelic medicines, The Launchpad evolved after my arrest and jail time for drug trafficking into a less risky vehicle. After earning my business degree, I started The Launchpad Podcast and helped scale Minnesota Nice Ethnobotanicals, a thriving e-commerce platform specializing in legal psychoactive plant medicines. Here, I dive into the depths of psychedelic experiences, reflecting on their profound impact on my life, while welcoming guests to explore topics that inspire the psychonaut community.

I will never be your guru but I hope this podcast and my lifeforce can serve as your rocket fuel.

  • What If the DMT Breakthrough Didn’t End? | Extended State DMT
    Feb 20 2026

What if the DMT breakthrough didn’t end?

In this episode of The Launchpad, we explore the emerging field of Extended State DMT - a technological approach to sustaining the DMT experience beyond its traditional 5–10 minute window.

For decades, users have described the DMT breakthrough as profound but fleeting. Now, researchers and technologists are asking a radical question: Can the DMT state be intentionally extended? We sit down with DreamMindLabs to discuss the science, philosophy, and ethical implications of using technology to prolong the DMT experience. We talk about extended-state research, the phenomenon of “staying there,” consciousness exploration, contact hypotheses, and what might happen when the breakthrough doesn’t snap you back.

    Topics include:

Why DMT breakthroughs feel timeless yet brief

The frustration many psychonauts report about duration

How technology may allow sustained DMT states

The difference between traditional DMT sessions and extended-state approaches

The risks, ethics, and future of consciousness research

What extended experiences may reveal about perception and reality

This conversation is not about recreational use. It’s about the frontier of psychedelic science, technology, and the evolving study of consciousness.

  • What Happened to us in the Gifted and Talented Program? Pt. 3
    Jan 26 2026

What actually happened to those of us placed into Gifted & Talented programs?

In Part 3 of this GATE series, I’m joined by Cryptid Candy and Wicked Mysterious to continue unpacking the lived experience behind GATE - and how it intersects with declassified research, parapsychology, and U.S. intelligence interest in childhood cognition.

While GATE programs are a major focus of this series, the documentation and research suggest that these kinds of experiments were not exclusive to GATE students. Similar methodologies and interests appear to have existed outside of formal Gifted & Talented pipelines, raising broader questions about education, cognition, and how certain children were identified and studied.

CIA documents exist. Academic sources exist. But this conversation is about what it felt like, how it shaped us, and why so many people are only now connecting the dots.

This episode builds directly on Parts 1 & 2

  • The Surprising Evolution of Gas Station Mushroom Products w/ Xum: Beyond Shrooms
    Dec 9 2025

In my Youtube video "The Surprising Truth About Gas Station Mushroom Products", I exposed the shady world of gas station “mushroom gummies,” contaminated products, fake actives, and the companies cutting corners.

Today’s interview is the opposite of that story.

I sat down with Judd, the founder of Xum: Beyond Shrooms - one of the only companies openly selling real, standardized 4-HO-MET (Metocin) instead of hiding behind “nootropic blends” and vague marketing.

    We dive into:
🌿 The true origins of 4-HO-MET and its connection to Alexander Shulgin
🧪 How a transparent psychedelic company actually operates
⚖️ The legal gray zone of the Analogue Act
🚫 Why he refuses to play the “gas station gummy” game
💊 His upcoming MDMA analogue - and the future of psychedelic chemistry
🧠 Why Metocin feels similar to mushrooms, but cleaner, friendlier, and more visual

This interview adds much-needed context to the legal psychedelic landscape.
Not all companies in this space are cutting corners - some are trying to fix the problems.

As always, this content is for education and harm reduction only.
