Nimrod is the first antichrist, and he is the template for the gameplan that satan and other rebellious divine beings run in their corrupt governance of the affairs of human beings.

While Genesis 10 has been ubiquitously labeled "The Table of Nations", it could just as easily have been named "Disinheriting the Nations". This story when combined with the Tower of Babel story sets up the rest of the entire Bible and the long project of God reclaiming the nations for himself.
