• Band Math & Jukebox Crimes
    Oct 16 2026

Russ recorded a song without playing the kick drum. The band had a name, a logo, and studio time. Apparently that was enough.

Robb also revisits the night his bedroom speaker got hijacked from 1,200 miles away. Add some TouchTunes mischief, a St. Ides flavor investigation, a very stubborn karaoke argument, TV tangents, and wrestling briefcase pyro, and you've got this week's Moron Bros.

No kick drum. Plenty of range.

    Explicit language and adult humor.

  • Chicken Parm & Gator Plans
    Oct 9 2026

Robb went to a comedy show. The chicken parm got the better review. Meanwhile, one alligator staring across the water is all Russ needs to assemble an entire heist crew. Everybody has a job. Somebody's cutting the pool screen.

Before we get there: G.I. Joe twins, dogs who don't care about daylight saving time, childhood fire stories, and the rules for ordering a Coke when you actually want a Sprite. Streaming services have figured out how to put a commercial break inside your commercial break, limited-edition snacks have gone too far, and an innocent character-voice exercise ends with a very reasonable question: why are we doing this?

Russ also talks about Making the Scene, his documentary project on the Nashville and Middle Tennessee nu-metal scene of 1998–2008. Add movie trailers, TV rabbit holes, cartoon memories, and some questionable wildlife planning.

Good food. Dumb ideas. Same two morons.

  • Bad Decisions: Fake IDs, Forties & a Dodge Neon
    Oct 1 2026

We pause for the world's least natural thumbnail photo, then revisit the stories that probably explain a few things: fake IDs, a cigarette run, the ever-changing lights in Robb's Dodge Neon, and the problem with bringing a forty into a movie theater.

From Orbitz and a Blockbuster Yoda giveaway to basement parties and the ridiculous run of albums released in 1994, the nostalgia gets out of hand fast. Then Russ brings us back to the present with Uber rides involving an empty gas tank, a very tired driver, and a five-dollar response from support. Add movie arguments, TV reboots, sandwich orders, and an urgent need for Waffle House.

Decades of friendship. Questionable judgment. Excellent stories.

Follow Moron Bros. for more questionable judgment and excellent stories.

  • The Return: Older, Louder & Still Off Topic
    Sep 20 2026

After a long break, Robb Fladry and Russ Attitude are back behind the mics—and it takes roughly no time to remember why we’re called the Moron Bros. Robb’s back in Florida, Russ is negotiating with the concept of aging, and a simple catch-up turns into restaurant nostalgia, questionable dating math, and a deeply unfortunate misunderstanding involving crab rangoon.

The guys compare Blink-182’s “Violence” with Limp Bizkit’s take on INXS’s “Don’t Change,” revisit a gig that ended with Russ going through his own merch table, and somehow arrive at Muppets, dinosaurs, and suspicious pigeons. There’s also proof of Robb’s contribution to Urban Dictionary, fond memories of O’Charley’s, a few movie detours, and absolutely no chance of finishing one story before starting three more.

New chapter. Same two morons. Welcome back to The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour.

    In this episode:

    • Catching up after the break: Florida, aging, and dating math
    • O’Charley’s memories, seafood horror stories, and restaurant detours
    • Internet slang and Robb’s Urban Dictionary entry
    • Blink-182’s “Violence” and Limp Bizkit’s “Don’t Change”
    • The gig that ended with Russ going through his own merch table
    • Muppets, movies, dinosaurs, and the inevitable next tangent

Follow The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour for more stories, music talk, and conversations with no reliable destination. Tell us which tangent you want us to come back to.

  • Arts, Airlines, and McDonald’s Pizza: A Buffet of Chaos
    Dec 30 2024

This week on The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour, Robb and Russ take a winding trip through nostalgia, trivia, and pure ridiculousness. They kick things off by mourning the lost era of arts and crafts (glitter glue forever!) and dive into how air travel has changed since 9/11. The convo gets presidential as they pay tribute to Jimmy Carter (RIP), then detours into the mystery of McDonald’s Pizza—was it real, and why did it disappear?

Things heat up as Russ learns the difference between a documentary and a drama (spoiler: he didn’t know), and they discuss the legacy of Mr. Peanut (he’s more than a monocle, okay?). Add in their unfiltered takes on Chinese buffets and some truly questionable geography, history, and math lessons, and you’ve got another unforgettable episode of Moron Bros chaos.

  • Fake IDs, Buffet Philosophy, and Deathstep History (Kinda)
    Dec 16 2024

This week on The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour, Robb and Russ serve up a chaotic blend of stories, hot takes, and half-remembered facts. They kick things off with tales of fake IDs and all the shenanigans that come with being underage and overconfident. Next, they reminisce about their old movie theater jobs, where popcorn wasn’t the only thing being spilled.

The conversation takes a wild turn into the glory of Chinese buffets (egg rolls for days) and a completely muddled attempt at explaining the history of deathstep communications—whatever that means. Let’s just say the lack of a proper notetaker is becoming a recurring theme.

If you love tangents, laughter, and pure chaos, this episode is for you.

  • Drugs, Ghosts, and the Jailhouse Blanket: Teenage Hijinks Unplugged
    Dec 4 2024

This week on The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour, we went full after-school special and decided it’s the drug episode. Brace yourselves as Robb and Russ dive into their teenage hijinks—completely on drugs. Don’t try this at home, kids; this is purely for entertainment purposes and comes with all the legal disclaimers.

But it’s not just about the substances. They explore haunted places they visited during those wild times, the deeper meaning of Toy Story(spoiler: it’s not what you think), and The Blanket—yes, it’s as mysterious as it sounds. The pièce de résistance? Russ recounts his unforgettable night in jail… on ecstasy. Trust us, you don’t want to miss this one.

Wild stories, questionable decisions, and some nostalgic reflection? Sounds like a regular Moron Bros episode to us.

  • Russ Is Single, Tolkien Wrote Harry Potter, & Thanksgiving Chaos
    Nov 27 2024

This week on The Moron Bros. Reflecting Hour, we’re bringing you a buffet of ridiculousness. First, Russ spills the tea on his type (yes, ladies, he’s available—act fast before Grey Sweatpants Season ends). Then, things get existential as Robb and Russ imagine going back in time to see their parents in high school—spoiler: the results are hilariously terrifying.

We’re also tackling the big stuff: Remember the Titans (still iconic), Lord of the Rings (Tolkien obviously wrote Harry Potter, duh), and the completely unnecessary Gladiator Part Two—which we’re sure will somehow involve time travel and Russell Crowe fighting dinosaurs. Plus, a classic Moron Bros. Thanksgiving breakdown, complete with debates over stuffing, pie, and why nobody wants cranberry sauce.

As always, we wrap it up with some killer movie and music recommendations, because we’ve got taste. This episode is so funny, you’ll be thankful you tuned in.
