• 144: 6 Pillars of an Empowered Life
    May 28 2026

What if the way you show up in your life had less to do with discipline and strategy and everything to do with identity? In this episode, Isabelle walks you through the BRIDGE pillars framework: 6 foundational pillars of an empowered life that can anchor you from the inside out. Before diving in, she unpacks the crucial difference between interdependence and codependence, including a powerful look at the Karpman Drama Triangle and why your instinct to rescue might actually be keeping your kids stuck.

In this episode you'll hear about:

    • The difference between codependence and interdependence and why it matters for your family culture
    • The Karpman Drama Triangle: Victim, Persecutor, and Rescuer and why the Rescuer role is the sneakiest trap for mothers
    • What it really means to be a team (without losing yourself in the process)
    • The 6 BRIDGE pillars: Belonging, Resources, Identity, Direction, Guides, and Empowered Bodyset/Heartset/Mindset
    • Why your nervous system regulation is the foundation all the other pillars rest on

  • 143: Your Dreams Are Trying To Tell You Something with Dr. Barbara Bain
    May 19 2026

You've said it before. "I don't really dream." But what if I told you that you dream 5 to 6 times every single night, and simply haven't learned how to listen yet? In this episode, Indigenous psychologist Dr. Barbara Bain opens a doorway most of us have never walked through and what's on the other side might change everything.

    What you'll learn:

    • Why every human being dreams, even if they can't remember a single one and how to begin building a relationship with your dreaming world
    • Where dreams actually come from (hint: it's your heart, not your head) and why that matters for your sense of identity and direction
    • A simple nightly practice to invite your dreams in and start receiving the information that's meant specifically for you
    • How to work with difficult dreams and why even the scary ones carry medicine
    • What dream catchers actually are, where they originate, and how to use one with integrity

  • 141: How To Become Unoffendable
    May 5 2026

Your kid says, “I hate you.” A sibling calls another sibling “stupid.” A family member offers a parenting critique… and suddenly you feel hooked, activated, and hurt.

In this episode, Isabelle teaches “unoffendability” as a form of emotional maturity: the ability to pause, discern, and respond without letting someone else’s words define your identity.

    You’ll learn:

    • Why offense usually hits where you’re already tender
    • The 3-question filter: Do I agree? Can I learn? And do I release?
    • How to model emotional empowerment for your kids
    • Why “not everyone deserves a vote in your nervous system”
    • What empowerment means to Isabelle—and how to practice it in real life

    Journal prompts:

    • What do I get offended by most as a mother?
    • Whose opinions am I treating like truth that they haven’t earned?
    • Where can I practice one small moment of unoffendability this week?

  • 142: How to Become Unoffendable (Part 2)
    May 13 2026

Motherhood gives us endless opportunities to practice not taking everything personally.

In this episode, Isabelle explores what it really means to become unoffendable—not numb, passive, or shut down, but grounded enough that other people’s words, judgments, and projections don’t get to define who you are.

She shares why criticism stings most when it touches an unhealed place, how to discern whether feedback is useful or simply noise, and why one of the greatest gifts we can give our children is not a life free from offense—but the inner steadiness to not internalize everything they hear.

    In this episode, we explore:

    • Why motherhood can trigger every unhealed place in us
    • The difference between pain, truth, and projection
    • How to tell whether criticism is useful
    • Why not every opinion deserves equal weight
    • How to model discernment and self-trust for your children
    • What it means to belong to yourself deeply enough that you are less easily shaken

    JOUNRAL Qs:

    • What kinds of comments or situations offend me most easily?
    • What do those moments reveal about my own tender spots or unintegrated beliefs?
    • Whose opinions have I given too much authority to?
    • Who has actually earned the right to speak meaningfully into my life?

  • 140: When Your Child’s Behavior Triggers You with Wendy Snyder
    Apr 28 2026

What if the moments that feel hardest in parenting are actually invitations into healing?

In this episode of the Mother’s Empowerment Podcast, I’m joined by Wendy Snyder, certified positive parenting educator, family life coach, founder of Fresh Start Family, and author of Fresh Start Your Family: Powerful Parenting to Restore Peace in Your Home.

Together, we talk about what it means to parent from an empowered place instead of a reactive one. Wendy shares how awareness is only the beginning. From there, the real work becomes self-compassion, nervous system regulation, and learning how to create space between a trigger and a response.

We also talk about inherited parenting strategies, the pressure to move fast, the power of slowing down, and how our children often mirror the very places where we still need tenderness and support.

If you’ve ever found yourself yelling, reacting, feeling guilty, or wondering how to change patterns without shaming yourself in the process, this conversation will meet you there.

    In this episode, we explore:
    • What empowerment means in motherhood and parenting
    • The difference between reactive and responsive parenting
    • Why awareness alone is not enough to change patterns
    • How self-compassion supports real change
    • Why yelling often has deep nervous system roots
    • The power of slowing down and co-regulation
    • How strong-willed kids can become catalysts for healing
    • What revenge behavior may actually be communicating
    • How to hold your feelings without making them wrong
    • Why peace in the home begins with peace within

  • Choose You: Healing, Power, and the Courage to Rise with Lorraine Fletcher
    Apr 14 2026

What happens when a woman stops abandoning herself—and consciously chooses her own healing?

In this episode of the Mother’s Empowerment Podcast, Isabelle is joined by Lorraine Fletcher, founder of Fab Body Costa Rica, for a powerful, truth-filled conversation about self-love, empowerment, and the courageous choice to rise.

Lorraine shares the deeply personal moments that shaped her work with women—from sitting with women who had given up their power, to witnessing their transformation when they reclaimed it. Together, Isabelle and Lorraine explore what it really means to heal consciously—without bypassing the pain, but also without staying stuck in it.

    This episode touches on:

    • Why healing does hurt—and why that doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong
    • The cost of self-betrayal and the freedom that comes from choosing yourself
    • How power is reclaimed through boundaries, embodiment, and truth
    • Why growth follows safety—not fear
    • The difference between “playing it safe” and creating real safety
    • How nature, community, and the body support deep healing

Lorraine also shares her poetic wisdom, powerful metaphors (the onion, the broken arm), and a reminder every woman needs to hear: the key to your freedom is already inside you.

    ✨ Next Empowering Action:

Choose yourself—consciously and unapologetically. Say yes when your soul says yes. Say no when no is true. Healing begins with that decision.

  • Happy Earth Day with Frank Weaver
    Apr 21 2026

    HAPPY EARTH DAY, dear listener!

In this episode, I interviewed (And played with) Frank Oscar Weaver Vasconcelos. Grab a piece of paper and come play along.

Frank was born and raised on the border of Paraguay and Brazil, grew up volunteering in his family’s environmental NGO. This early experience fostered a deep connection with the Pai Tavytera community, where he was initiated through the Kunumi Pepy ceremony and is now officially enrolled in the Panambi’y tribe.

For more than 15 years in Central Florida, Frank has built youth-led environmental programs that earned a National Geographic Planet Inspired award and helped influence local policy. During his time at Apple, he launched volunteer efforts and served as the lead guide for the state of Florida. Frank also founded Indigenous Earth, a cultural preservation initiative that connects teens with traditional ecological knowledge through hands-on workshops and a globally reaching podcast.

Through his work with local nonprofits, Frank has secured grants for environmental programs that support Hispanic communities, including the bilingual Wetlands Ambassador Program, recognized by Orange County Public Schools as a Partner of the Year initiative. He is proud to be able to mentors United Tribal Youth’s Earth Ambassadors to better become community leaders.

Frank now looks forward to deepening his servant leadership by supporting youth clubs across Latin America—helping them cultivate purpose, amplify their impact, and grow into powerful agents of change for their communities.

  • Building Impact Without Burning Out with Jackie Gilbert
    Apr 8 2026

What if your life’s work didn’t come from a strategic plan—but from listening deeply, responding honestly, and following one small, courageous “yes”?

In this episode of the Mother’s Empowerment Podcast, Isabelle sits down with Jackie Gilbert, co-founder of One Thread Collective, for a powerful conversation about purpose, fulfillment, and building meaningful impact without burning yourself out.

Jackie shares the unexpected origin story of One Thread Collective—from her time as a Fulbright researcher in La Guajira, Colombia, to supporting Indigenous Wayuu women through sustainable income, education, and community-led development. What began as a simple request—“Can you help us sell our bags?”—became a globally impactful organization rooted in relationship, dignity, and trust.

    Together, Isabelle and Jackie explore:

Why purpose often reveals itself after we stop forcing the path

The difference between stress that depletes and stress that feels meaningful

Why empowerment isn’t just self-care—but being part of something bigger than yourself

How supporting women transforms entire communities

What to do when you feel disheartened, blocked, or “behind” in your own life

This episode is a grounding reminder that fulfillment doesn’t come from doing more—it comes from doing what’s true.

    ✨ Next Empowering Action:

Find one place—today—where you can offer your time, energy, or financial support in alignment with your values. Let yourself feel what it’s like to belong to something bigger than you.
