    Nov 20 2025

    Hi all,

James Barnett here, creator and producer. First up, a huge thank you to everyone who listened to the reimagined season one episodes. The relaunch has been really successful, and that’s entirely because of you.

I also want to give a special shoutout to some new Patrons who’ve come on board:

    Dave Baxter

    John Cairns

    Bridgett Bauer

    Carolyn O’Brien

    Josh Gilbert

    Bee Redfield

    Najee P

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support genuinely keeps these shows alive.

Right now, I’m deep in editing for Night’s End season 4 and After the Gloaming season 2. The scripts are done; we’re at the recording and meta-story stage. That final stretch is always the trickiest, and it’s funded entirely by me and a small group of generous Patrons.

So, if you enjoy the stories and you’re in a position to help, you can:

    • Make a one-off donation via Ko-Fi, or
    • https://ko-fi.com/dissonancemedia
    • Join the Patreon for exclusive episodes and ad-free versions of the show.

You’ll find all the links in the episode description. Any support you can give helps me get these new seasons into your ears much sooner.

    Alright, awkward money bit over.

I’ve got a bonus episode for you today: a story written by me, titled The Burning Tree. I really hope you enjoy it.

And as always… Stay horrific, everyone.
