  • 3 Movies Of The Week - Isolation, Pain & Chasing! | Comedy
    Oct 16 2026

This week on Movie of the Week, we’ve got three completely different films: I Am Legend, I, Robot, and The Fugitive. From Will Smith facing isolation, AI and the end of the world, to Harrison Ford being hunted across Chicago in one of the great ’90s thrillers, there’s a lot to get into here.

We’ll talk about why I Am Legend is really a movie about loneliness, why I, Robot feels far more relevant now than it did in 2004, and why The Fugitive still works despite some gloriously dated dialogue. Plus, plenty of behind-the-scenes trivia, Oscars, performances and the little details that made these movies worth revisiting.

Three very different stories, plenty of comedy, tension and nostalgia, and three films that absolutely deserve a spot on your watchlist.

  • Love Is A Battlefield | Relationships
    Oct 13 2026

Today I’m joined by Cat for a proper dating and relationships head-to-head, man versus woman, comparing notes on attraction, rejection, communication, commitment and all the ridiculous little things that make modern love so confusing.

We get into the differences in how men and women see the same situations, where each side completely misunderstands the other, and whether dating has actually become harder or we’ve just become worse at talking to each other. It’s funny, honest, occasionally brutal, and very much two sides of the same story.

  • Ferrari Bottling It Again! F1 Singapore GP Reaction
    Oct 12 2026

Max Verstappen finally conquers Singapore at the 10th attempt, but the biggest F1 talking point might be Ferrari once again letting a potential winning strategy slip away with Lewis Hamilton. We break down the Norris–Piastri clash, why the track appeared to fall away late in qualifying, Ferrari’s tyre call, and how Verstappen controlled the race under the Marina Bay lights.

Meanwhile, Kimi Antonelli quietly grabs another podium and stretches his championship lead to a massive 102 points, putting himself within touching distance of the Formula 1 world title heading to Austin. With Red Bull suddenly winning back-to-back races and Ferrari still struggling to convert opportunities, the final stretch of the sports season is getting very interesting.

  • Movie Of The Week - Broken Arrow | Comedy
    Oct 9 2026

This week on Movie of the Week, we’re diving into Broken Arrow, a gloriously over-the-top 1996 action movie that absolutely lives and dies on one thing: John Travolta having the time of his life as the villain. Christian Slater brings the old-school ’90s charm, John Woo throws in trains, helicopters, nuclear weapons and enough explosions to flatten a small country, while Hans Zimmer gives the whole thing a fantastic Western-style edge.

We also get into the behind-the-scenes trivia, the huge amount of stunt work, the intense physical preparation and why Travolta’s funny, cool and completely unhinged performance lifts the entire film. It’s not one of the greatest movies ever made, and some of it is pure action-movie nonsense, but as big, ridiculous popcorn comedy and entertainment goes, it’s very hard to switch off.

Singapore Grand Prix — Live from 12:55
    All times Irish time.

The F1 championship heads under the lights in Singapore, with Kimi Antonelli sitting on a huge 84-point lead — but Mercedes now have a major decision to make over an upgrade package that appeared to punish their tyres in Malaysia. We also look at Fernando Alonso and Aston Martin finally finding something positive, plus Alex Albon’s fascinating insight into the far less glamorous side of life as a Formula 1 driver: constant travel, training, hotel rooms and living out of a suitcase.

With Verstappen coming off a victory, Mercedes facing a crucial one-practice Sprint weekend and Singapore ready to punish the smallest mistake, this could be one of the most revealing sports weekends of the season.

  • He Manages $11 BILLION - Here’s What He Thinks About Investing | Relationships
    Oct 6 2026

I sit down with Erik Lehr, Chief Investment Officer at Empirical Wealth Management, where the firm manages around $11 billion in client assets. We talk about whether AI is really a bubble, why AI can be brilliant at research but dangerous at decision-making, how beginners should approach investing, diversification, compounding, market crashes, and why managing people’s retirement money carries enormous responsibility. Erik also explains why long-term thinking matters more than trying to predict what markets will do next.

  • F1 - The Messiest GP EVER!? Malaysian GP Reaction |Sports
    Oct 5 2026

Max Verstappen is back on the top step after a chaotic Malaysian Grand Prix, but the bigger F1 story may be Kimi Antonelli quietly doing exactly what a championship leader needs to do, finishing second, banking the points, and watching George Russell suffer a costly power unit failure.

We break down the strange qualifying penalties, the never-ending track-limits debate, Hamilton’s risky slick-tyre gamble, and why Mercedes’ new upgrade may have created as many questions as answers. With Formula 1 heading straight to Singapore for a Sprint weekend, Mercedes may already need a backup plan if tyre temperatures become a problem again.

Antonelli may not have won the race, but in championship terms this was another massive result, and another reminder in sports that sometimes you don’t need to be the hero, you just need to keep scoring.

  • Movie Of The Week - Chocolat | Comedy
    Oct 2 2026

This week on Movie Night, we’re diving into Chocolat, the beautifully made 2000 film that proves a movie doesn’t need explosions, huge twists or chaos to completely pull you in. Juliette Binoche is fantastic, Johnny Depp brings effortless charm in a smaller role, Judi Dench adds real bite, and the whole thing is wrapped in gorgeous cinematography, music and one of the most inviting villages ever put on screen.

We also get into the behind-the-scenes trivia, the film’s five Oscar nominations, the real chocolate-making, Johnny Depp’s surprising history with chocolate, and why this is one of those movies you just have to relax into. It’s warm, funny, romantic and full of comedy, with enough depth underneath the sweetness to stop it ever becoming too sugary.
