When we become stagnant in our spiritual growth by remaining a 'baby Christian' we can be reminded that the Lord has called us to grow in Him. No longer will we only drink milk, it's time for us to eat solid food; Our Daily Bread that our Heavenly Father has provided us. (The Word of God) Only then we will succeed and prosper in all we do.

Whenever we forget the importance of submitting to the Lord, here's an episode that gives plenty of reasons why we should submit to Him and His perfect will. His plans are better than ours even when it doesn't make sense to us. His will is sufficient and His ways are better. Choose to submit to the Lord today in Jesus' name.

Whenever we feel the desperate need for protection God is always present to secure us. What's your favorite bread to make a sandwich with? It might seem silly, but He is that sandwich bread and we are the filling. He's both in front of us and behind us, and nothing or no one can get in between the protection of the Almighty. Let's rest in this truth today.

When our views of us following Jesus gets in the way of the truth it then becomes a false perception; thought, belief, or understanding. So how can we turn that false perception into a true one? By staying rooted in Him so He can allow our thoughts to be in alignment with His own. Having a relationship with the Father will then allow the Lord to show us through experience both what is true and what is false.

Some False Perceptions Include:

• We are considered "good" over unbelievers simply because we are chosen by God
• As believers, we won't go through trials
• When someone else is being blessed God is too busy to provide for you as well
• Children of God cannot have demons

Some True Perceptions Include:

• We aren't considered good because we are sinners that fall short of the GLORY of God
• Just like everyone else we will go through trials the only difference is we have Jesus to go through them with us
• God is NEVER too busy for you; your time is coming, stay patient and don't compare yourself to others
• It is true we can have demons through opening doors that God didn't call us to open through sin (we aren't exempt)

Whenever we have the urge to spotlight the imperfections within ourselves, it's important that we rest in the Lord and allow Him to magnify the truths of what Jesus has already spoken. We are imperfect beings serving a perfect God which is beautiful.

In this episode, I tell a few stories and testimonies regarding perfectionism and what the Lord has done in my life.

When God tells us that He loves us, we often take it only for the moment and then quickly forget; because of the water-downed love, we've once been shown. Instead, we should allow Him to remind us on a daily basis that He intends to love us for eternity. And nothing less. If we accept His unconditional love we will find that it will never waver or fail.

When the enemy tries to tempt us to go backward and believe the lie that our past is better than our future could ever be we should remind ourselves of the goal. What is the goal? Remaining on the Narrow Path is the goal. Hearing the Lord say "Well done my good and faithful servant" is the goal. Getting to heaven is the goal.

When you long for the "good old days" remember that Jesus is the "good old days" forevermore.
