  • What do we do in our season's of waiting?
    Aug 9 2026

We are considering the difficulty of the Christian journey.

We talked about how we are are called to sacrifice and walk alone the last 2 weeks. This week, we consider the difficulty of waiting on the Lord. When the Lord gives a promise, it isn't fulfilled in our time. People throughout scripture waited for different times for the promise of God. Some believe Noah waited over 40 years for the fulfillment of the flood, Abraham waited 25 years for the promise, and Joseph waited 13 years for his dream to come true. None of the promises came at the time the individual desired. This is a difficult component of Christian life.

In a world that is so attracted to rushing, what do we do when the Lord has us in a season of waiting. How do we handle the waiting well? We consider this and more in this week's sermon. As always, thanks for listening. If you have any prayer requests or questions, email us at theservingchurchdallas@gmail.com. Thanks and hope you have a blessed week.

  • Why does God send us into seasons of being alone?
    Jul 27 2026

Throughout the Bible, as people drew near to the Lord, the more isolated their lives became.

Noah, David, and even Jesus went through seasons of being alone. This seems difficult because being alone can be one of the hardest experiences of being a human, but still God allows it for different reasons. Why does God do this?

This week, we consider this question. Our prayer is that this sermon strengthens your spirit and gives you strength to endure where God has you. As always, please let us know if you have any prayer requests or questions at theservingchurchdallas@gmail.com. Thanks and have a great week
