Welcome to the Tank Commander Podcast, hosted by Jeffrey Pidlaoan and Noah Sharp! Just like the players we'll be covering, this is an up-and-coming NBA and Dynasty Fantasy podcast focusing on the newest players in the NBA, ranging from prospects about to enter the league in the incoming drafts, to the young rookies and sophomores who are making their way and ascending into stardom or at least a long career in the league.

We are two dynasty tank commanders with the youngest teams in our league and highest picks in our rookie draft who keep falling for the youth movement. We focus on these young players because we love following their journey and seeing how their tools and abilities help them make it to the next level, or even change the NBA itself. In this podcast, we combine our scouting eyes along with our fantasy skills, to provide ongoing young player coverage throughout the year: from the draft to summer league, to the mid-season doldrums, to the playoffs, and all the way back to draft season over again.

Whether it's the first or second year players adapting to the league and evolving past what anyone could have predicted, to the draft prospects that will make even the most old man fantasy squad want to send their team deep into tank mode, the Tank Commander Podcast is your best bet to get year-round insights on the future of the NBA.

    Oct 13 2026

We go back to the top of the 2027 draft class and look at its current frontrunner candidate. This time, it's Kansas-bound Tyran Stokes, who is a versatile offensive weapon at both forward positions. We have a lot of things we like, and his tape looks incredible at the high school level, but there is still so much more to investigate.

We look at our first real top contender this year! Slovenia and Baskonia's Stefan Joksimovic looks like an easy Luka clone at first, but digging into his tape a little more reveals some key differences and some real hints at true two-way play.

    Ep 102 (S3, E2) - 2027 Prospect #2 Tounde Yessoufou
    Sep 21 2026

For our second prospect of the season, we go back to one of our unscouted favorites from last year: Baylor-now-St. John's returning prospect Tounde Yessoufou. He has a big power guard build and playstyle with sky high potential, but also a good roadmap to get even better. He's an interesting prospect, so tune in to how we diagnose his future outlook.
