The New York Jets Roundtable is back with a hard-hitting reaction to the Jets' disappointing 23-12 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 4 of the 2026 NFL season.

After another frustrating performance, the questions surrounding the Jets are getting louder. Is there any reason to believe this team will get better? New York fell to 1-3 after being dominated by Chicago for much of the afternoon, raising serious concerns about the offense, defense, coaching and the direction of the franchise.

The Bears controlled the game from start to finish, holding the ball for more than 42 minutes, running 89 plays compared to just 32 for the Jets, and piling up 492 total yards. New York managed only 157 yards and went 0-for-7 on third down.

The Jets did force two turnovers and showed some red-zone resistance, but those positives weren't enough to overcome the overwhelming control Chicago had over the game.

Is this Jets team capable of getting better, or are there simply too many problems to overcome? Is Aaron Glenn the right head coach to turn things around? Can Geno Smith and the offense find consistency? And what changes need to happen before the season completely gets away from New York?
