In Part 1 of “Dating & Life Choices for Men in Their 30s,” Harvey & I have an honest conversation about relationships, career decisions, marriage, and the reality of getting older.

I open up about going back to school, my job history, and the decisions that have shaped where he is today, while Harvey challenges him to understand that succeeding in the corporate world isn't always just about working hard—you also have to learn how to play the corporate game.

The conversation also tackles the idea that “40 is the new 30.” Is that really true, or is it something we tell ourselves to avoid accepting that certain seasons of life are passing us by?

And when it comes to relationships, are men in their 30s actually in a better position to date? There are some major advantages—including greater maturity, more life experience, better financial awareness, and a clearer understanding of what you want. But there can also be serious disadvantages when men completely remove dating, commitment, and marriage from their plans.
