This week on Not Another Football Podcast, we’re joined by actor and musician Tom Urie. Tom sits down with Jackie McNamara and Simon Donnelly to look back on his career in television, film, comedy and music. He reflects on his time working on Chewin’ the Fat, the stories and characters from behind the scenes, and his journey to becoming one of Scotland’s most recognisable faces through his role as Big Bob in River City. Tom also talks about appearing in T2 Trainspotting, what it was like being involved in the hugely anticipated sequel, and some of his experiences from a career working across Scottish television and film. The conversation also explores another huge part of Tom’s life – music. He looks back on his music career, performing over the years and how acting and music have continued to cross paths throughout his life. A brilliant conversation packed with stories from Tom’s career on stage, screen and behind the microphone.
