  • Arlen Glick | Trail Running, Life, and Going to the Extremes
    Oct 7 2026

Meet Arlen Glick, one of the most fascinating and fast people in the trail and ultra running community. He was featured in the film, The Chase, after he finished third at the Cocodona 250 in 2024. You may be wondering where he's been. He's never been on social media, and he's not currently sponsored by a shoe company. I met the morning after his most recent run at Hardrock when we had a very brief conversation about his race and his plan to take his nephew fishing later that day. Arlen is outgoing, well-liked, and more than meets the eye. We talked about topics ranging from how he got started to his time in prison. Repeated visits. Ministry. I really enjoyed my conversation with him.

  • Zach Miller | Deep Conversation with the Trail Running Legend
    Sep 22 2026

I absolutely enjoyed this conversation with Zach Miller, the trail running legend, about his story and journey so far as a trail runner and in life. We talked a little about his fantastic year in 2026, with historic runs at Western States and Canyons; and more about his wedding, handing out donuts at Hardrock, and what brought him here. Zach is undoubtedly one of the most well-known and respected trail runners in the world. By the end of this episode, I think you'll know him better and respect him even more.

  • Katharina Hartmuth | Finding a Way in the Mountains
    Sep 8 2026

Join me for a personal conversation with Katharina Hartmuth to learn her story. Katharina is quite simply one of the fastest, grittiest trail runners in the world today, and she's an amazing, brilliant, and humble human being. Besides having a PhD in Climate Science and years of experience working in that field, she has had two podium performances at UTMB in the past three years, plus a record shattering run at Tor de Geants that she will be defending in just five days. Along the way, she has faced and overcome incredible challenges, as documented in the 2025 short film, "Katharina", by Ethan Newberry (The Ginger Runner).
