    The Zodiac /// Part 4

    Part 4 of 5

A killer without a name. Letters filled with threats. Ciphers that challenged police and the public.

In the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Zodiac terrorized the San Francisco Bay Area and demanded attention through chilling communications with the press and police. His identity remains one of true crime’s most debated mysteries.

The 2018 arrest of Golden State Killer Joseph DeAngelo renewed hope that even decades-old cases could yield answers. Could investigators finally unmask the Zodiac?

Join Nic and the Captain in the Garage as we trace the timeline of Zodiac’s confirmed attacks, examine the evidence, and offer our speculation and insights along the way.

Grab a chair. The investigation starts here.

    The Zodiac Killer? /// Part 2 /// 961

    Part 2 of 2

    www.TrueCrimeGarage.com

The Zodiac Killer remains officially unidentified, making his string of crimes one of the most infamous cold cases in American history. Operating primarily in Northern California between 1968 and 1969, the killer came to symbolize a unique brand of public terror. The Zodiac operated with an almost supernatural ability to evade capture. So who is the Zodiac Killer? This week Eddie McNamara joins Nic in the Garage to discuss his new book that revives an old Zodiac theory. The book is titled Zodiactually: the real story of a fake serial killer. The book is a fantastic read and the Garage conversation about one of America most intriguing serial cases is equally fascinating.

Babes in the Wood Murders - Chapter 4 /// Double Jeopardy

Almost eight years to the night that Margaret Frame disappeared and later was found killed in a park in Brighton, the terror climbed to a new level. This time it was the disappearance of two little girls, best friends who were playing together in a park in Brighton. On the evening of October 9, 1986, two nine-year-old girls, Nicola Fellows and Karen Hadaway failed to return home. The girls were last spotted playing together in Wild Park shortly before twilight. Both of the girls were afraid of the dark. A large search for the two commenced that evening around dinner time and continued into the night. A large park with foggy, pitch black conditions proved to be extremely difficult. As it turns out, everything about this case will prove to be extremely difficult.
