There are no dedicated Mother's Day episodes during the run of The Andy Griffith Show. That aligns with its gentle, everyday small-town storytelling rather than holiday-specific plots. References to mothers are subtle, infrequent, and often tied to character dynamics, with Aunt Bee serving as the central maternal/surrogate figure for Andy and Opie. I'll dig into some "mom" related topics like: Opie's Mother (Andy's late wife); Barney Fife's Mother; Howard Sprague's Mother; and, Aunt Bee as Mother Figure. We even have trivia by Paul Mulik about Motherhood that we'll play at the very beginning (so I don' give away any answers), so enjoy playing along.
