  • Let's Get Physical: Horse & Rider Fitness
    Sep 18 2025

Let's Chat! You know we love to talk...

In this episode, we dive into the routines, habits, and mindsets that keep both horses and riders fit, happy, and ready for the work ahead. From building simple, effective fitness plans to the importance of warm-ups and cool-downs—especially in Western Canada’s unpredictable weather—we’re breaking down what it takes to support your horse’s body and your own.

We’ll chat about going at your horse’s pace (not just your own timeline), how rider fitness directly impacts horse soundness, and why self-love and body acceptance are vital parts of the journey. Plus, we’re sharing a companion digital product—our Horse + Rider Fitness Planner—that helps you create routines and track your progress.

This episode is about partnership, not perfection. Because when you take care of yourself, you take care of your horse.

  • Check Your Ego: How the Horse Influences "Success"
    Aug 21 2025

Let's Chat! You know we love to talk...

When your ego’s in the saddle, nobody wins.

In this episode, Britain and Tea get real about how ego influences the way we train, compete, and celebrate wins with our horses. From Rumour’s role in building a business to Pete’s reserve champion title in working equitation, they share personal stories that highlight the truth: every win, milestone, and achievement belongs to the horse just as much—if not more—than the rider or trainer. Together, they unpack the importance of appreciation over ownership, and how we should be shifting from “me” to “we” in horsemanship.
