3rd-year student from UT Austin, Ashleigh joins us for our 3rd episode of season 4. Ashleigh shares her experience in Italy as she explores the field of education throughout the country, detailing stories of academic and personal growth along the way.

Caleb joins us for episode 2 from Tokyo, Japan. A rising 4th-year Pre-PT student from UT Austin, Caleb shares his experience abroad, harnessing independence and growth, and celebrating yourself along the way. He details his experience in undergrad and his goals upon his return to campus this Fall.

Season 4 takes us abroad to share many stories of students gone abroad.

Joining us for Episode 1 is Collis, a rising Senior at UT Austin majoring in Engineering. Collis details is experience in Madrid, Spain studying Air Pollution Engineering; from communication barriers, family comfort, and exploring Europe!

A rising 2nd year at George Washington University, Malyna was able to intern at La Clinica del Pueblo this summer! In assisting the Communications Department, Malyna was able to observe many different aspects of the clinic’s inner workings.

As a Political Science student and Cisneros Scholar, Malyna has been able to find her home away from home. She joins us to talk about her efforts in seeking community and in leaving connections for students yet to come.

A rising Junior at the University of Arizona, Rebeca joins us for our summer intern series as she concludes her internship with Congressman Ruben Gallego.

Beca is a passionate Pre-Med student double majoring in Public Health and Physiology and Health Sciences, and has been able to further harness her passion for health equity and policy during her term on the hill. She shares her story of embracing adversity and challenge, from the early beginnings and currently in higher education. Beca is excited to return to campus this Fall to implement all she has learned this summer and share her experience with others.

Veronica is currently an intern at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation in DC and is set to begin her final semester of her undergraduate degree in Information Technology at Rutgers University in New Jersey.

Veronica details her experience within higher education in navigating changing majors and the pressures that come with being a First Generation college student. As well as her journey in being in the STEM field and all the adversity that has come her way. She shares how impactful her internship has been this summer and how she has handled relocating for the opportunity.

Morelys is a rising Senior at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland majoring in Multimedia Journalism, Digital Communication and Media. She spent her summer interning on Capital Hill as a part of the Summer 2024 Cohort for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute. An award winning organizer, tv/radio host, poet, and storyteller; Morelys recognizes the most important title to her above all is that of being human. She joins us to discuss her journey in higher education and her personal story on navigating adversity through the arts and advocacy.

A 2023 graduate of San Jose State University, Andrea has relocated to Washington, DC as an intern with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. With a degree in Communication and Media studies, Andrea is passionate and public speaking and using communication as a tool for not only big corporations but for the engagement of the public.
