In this episode of Untold Design Stories, I talk to Olga Mishyna, Head of Product Design @ Adyen based in Amsterdam & Sarah Khan, Senior Product Designer @ Next Roll, based in San Francisco. We touch on reinventing yourself, landing their first roles in design, the challenges of being a woman in design & leadership, scary moments in their careers, what they'd do differently if given the chance and what excites them about the future of the design industry.

Since launching the On Deck Designer Fellowship a few weeks ago, I've realised that the cohort comprises fabulous designers, and I'd love to highlight some of your journeys in design and leadership. 

Together with Dylan and Guilherme we touch on landing their first roles in design, how to get ahead in your early careers, what good leadership looks like, the leaders that inspired and supported them and what excites them about the future of the design industry. 

This will be a series of episodes where I get to talk to some of the incredible designers joining the Designer Fellowship and their journey in design so far. We'll also record a couple of episodes during the fellowship so you're able to hear first-hand experiences and how the program is helping designers uplevel.
