  • Episode 173: Blogging Has Never Been "Dead"
    May 18 2026

    Summary

In this episode, I'm getting into something I see come up again and again: Your ideal client may not even know that your service can help them, and that's a real problem worth addressing. I share a real-life example from a volleyball game where a woman was troubleshooting her shoulder pain by cycling through chiropractic, acupuncture, and MRI recommendations, never once landing on the solution that might have actually helped her most. I also revisit why blogging is absolutely not dead. In fact, it's one of the most powerful long-term tools you have, especially as AI search pulls directly from your website content. If you're not publishing, you simply won't show up... period.

    What I Talked About

    • My personal update on the Google Ads course I'm developing and the mental blocks I'm working through around it
    • A quick business update: I'm not taking new clients right now outside of pre-booked website projects
    • Why your ideal client is searching their symptoms, not your service — and what that means for your content strategy
    • The real reason blogging will never be dead, no matter what anyone tells you
    • How AI search results like ChatGPT actually work — and why they depend entirely on your website content
    • A story from my inner circle about a client who found her pelvic PT through a symptom-based blog search
    • Why writing to your client's symptoms and lived experience matters more than leading with your service name

  • Episode 172: Are Your Meta Ads "Successful"?
    May 11 2026

    Summary
In this episode, I'm sharing some life and business updates before diving into a topic that's been on my mind after attending a recent business event. I break down Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram ads), what "interruption marketing" really means, and how to define success when running ads. I also talk through why getting lost in data you're not using can hurt more than help, and why patience matters when sales cycles are long.

    What I Talked About

    • Recapping my trip to New York City with Anna of Movement Rev, upcoming travel to see my parents, and our Switzerland trip coming up in 49 days
    • Updates on my Google Ads course, current client availability, and why I'm considering closing my books to new one-on-one clients
    • Hiring a one-on-one mentor for a six-month social ads mentorship and what that means for my business going forward
    • The difference between Meta ads (interruption marketing) and Google ads (intent-based), plus why boosted posts are not the same as real Meta ads
    • How to define a conversion and why the first true measure of ad success is simply whether someone did the thing you asked them to do
    • Why I prefer low-ticket offers over free lead magnets, and advice from Claire Pelletreau on only tracking data you'll actually use
    • How long sales cycles mean someone might opt in today and not buy for a year, and why focusing on your controllables is what matters most

  • Episode 171: Outsourcing and Owning Your Business' Assets
    May 4 2026

    Summary
In this episode, I share my number one rule when outsourcing in your business: you need to own everything that’s created for you. I walk through why proprietary platforms can be risky, how they lock you into systems you don’t control, and why that matters long term. I also touch on what to look for before hiring, how to think about ownership vs access, and share a few personal and business updates along the way.

    What I Talked About

    • Personal updates, travel prep, and work boundaries
    • Updates on SEO School and my Google Ads course
    • What proprietary platforms are and why they’re risky
    • My rule for outsourcing: you should own all your assets
    • How to think about ownership vs access when hiring
