  • Forgiveness is not necessary to heal but building capacity in the nervous system is

    Forgiveness is always a choice! No I don't believe it's necessary to forgive in order to heal but in my professional expereince forgiveness is an action it's a decsion and if you don't have the capacity in your nervous system you will struggle with any kind of action and choice. When you are in a dysregulated state your body is in fight or flight a {survial reponse} Check out my book to learn more. So it's important to build capacity in the nervous system first what I call priming the body before you set the intention to forgive or do any kind of inner forgiveess work.

  • POV Selfish Mothers In A Kids Eyes

    This episode is not about judging mothers you will have to listen to the whole episode to understand the title. 

    Kids don't come with a manual and raising them is the hardest thing you will ever do. Aliya and I sit down and dish about what a mother and daughter relationship can look like and how parents can repair the relationships with their kids. Teaching your kids to take repsonsibiltiy for their emotions by modleing repair work is one of the greatest things you can do for them as a parent.
