• Living Well Naturally: Guest Dr. Michelle Knights
    Jan 13 2026
In today’s episode, we’re exploring what it really means to live well, naturally—not through trends or pressure, but through clarity, intention, and care for the whole person.

I’m joined by my cousin, Dr. Michelle Knights, the founder of Vicelle Naturals. Michelle is a transformational leader, former university professor, TEDx speaker, and someone whose life’s work has been centred on helping people turn pain into resilience.

In this conversation, we talk about her journey, the birth of Vicelle Naturals, and what it looks like to reconnect with your body, strengthen your well-being, and build a lifestyle rooted in clarity, resilience, and self-care.

This isn’t just a conversation about products—it’s about people, purpose, and choosing to live well, naturally.

  • When Life Demands More: Guest Nichole Valentine
    Dec 2 2025
When life demands more than you ever thought you could carry, who do you become?

In this edition of Well Being with Ceejay Horrell, I sit down with someone whose resilience, honesty, and faith have shaped my own journey more than she even knows — nurse, mother, widow, entrepreneur, and author Nichole Valentine.

We explore the early years that shaped her, the realities of marrying young, becoming a caregiver at home and at work, navigating grief, raising a daughter as a single mother, and finding strength through calling, community, and God’s sovereignty.

We also dive into her new 5-week reflective group study guide, Sovereignty Uninterrupted, and the women in the lineage of Jesus who inspired it.

If you’ve ever felt stretched, overwhelmed, or unsure how to keep going when life keeps demanding more, this conversation will meet you right where you are — with honesty, hope, and a reminder that God’s steady hand never lets go.

  • Discernment At Every Light
    Nov 11 2025
Reading the Red, Yellow & Green Flags in Every Relationship

In today’s culture, especially online, we hear a lot about “red flags” — warnings about toxicity, manipulation, or unhealthy patterns. But relationships aren’t just romantic, and the signals we need to pay attention to aren’t always red. In this episode of Well Being with Ceejay Horrell, I explore the full spectrum of relational signals — green lights that show safety and trust, yellow lights that call for reflection and clarity, and red lights that signal danger or emotional harm.

    I break down:
    • Emotional, behavioural, and spiritual green flags
    • Yellow flags that invite honest communication and boundaries
    • Red flags that require courage, distance, or release
    • How God’s Word becomes a lamp and a light for relational discernment (Psalm 119:105)
    • Why discernment is not judgment — it’s stewardship of your peace, purpose, and emotional well-being

You’ll also hear a personal moment from my own journey, a spiritual reflection to help you see your relationships with fresh eyes, and a “Pause Point” to guide you into deeper discernment this week.

Plus, I share about Timeless Ties Legacy Projects — because your story matters, your life holds wisdom, and your legacy deserves to live on.

If you’re navigating loss, burnout, or relational confusion, or you’re longing for healthier connections, this episode will help you slow down, see clearly, and move wisely.

  • When The Storm Hits: Guest Bijan Rafii
    Oct 21 2025
Healing and Hope for Men in Crisis.

When crisis, separation, or divorce turns life upside down, many men find themselves caught between silence and survival — struggling with identity, loneliness, and the weight of losing connection with their children. In this episode of Well Being with Ceejay Horrell, I’m joined by Bijan Rafii, Executive Director of the Canadian Centre for Men and Families in York Region. Together, we talk about what happens when the storm hits — how men can navigate emotional crisis, find their footing again, and rediscover healing and hope on the other side.

  • Black, Whole, & Well: Guest Dr. Emmanuel Tabi
    Oct 14 2025
    Redefining Strength, Joy, and Belonging

In this episode, I sit down with my friend and brother, Dr. Emmanuel Tabi — a scholar, artist, and educator whose work explores Black identity, community, and well-being through creativity and culture.

We have an open and honest conversation about what it really means to pursue wholeness as Black men living in Canada. Together, we talk about the pressure to always be strong, the hidden emotional costs of that expectation, and the quiet power of rest, joy, and belonging.

We explore how faith, purpose, and creative expression can become sacred pathways to healing — not just for us as individuals, but for the communities we serve and love.

This isn’t just a conversation about race or resilience — it’s about being seen, being human, and being well.

The Battle Isn’t Out There, It’s In Here.

Have you ever noticed how certain thought patterns keep you stuck in fear, anger, or shame? It’s almost like fingerprints left behind by a broken world that relentlessly tramples across our minds.

But there’s good news: our Creator invites us to break free from those patterns and experience real transformation through the renewing of our minds.

In this episode of Well Being with Ceejay Horrell, we explore why the battle is not “out there” but “in here” — in the way we think. I share my personal struggle with self-reward and rest, explain the difference between rest and reward, and walk through 10 common cognitive distortions with practical, biblical reframes that bring clarity and freedom.

You’ll discover how distorted thinking shapes your choices, how to uproot lies with truth, and how God’s Spirit prepares your mind for both present renewal and future wholeness.

Whether you’re wrestling with negative self-talk, struggling to show up for yourself, or longing for deeper peace, this episode will equip you with tools to anchor your thoughts in life-giving truth.

  • From Grief to Grace: Guest Renee Weekes-Parris
    Sep 23 2025
In today’s edition of the Pod my guest (Renee Weekes-Parris) experienced the sudden, tragic loss of her brother to suicide — a moment that changed everything.

Yet, through unimaginable pain, she found her way toward hope, healing, and even grace.

This conversation is not about answers or quick fixes. It’s about being real with the pain of grief, honouring the memory of a loved one, and discovering that even in darkness, light can find its way through.

If you or someone you love is walking through loss, I pray this episode reminds you that you are not alone, and that healing, while slow, is possible.
