  • 103 | What Homeschooling Looks Like Right Now: Five Kids Under Six & Slow Learning at Home
    Jan 23 2026

What does homeschooling actually look like when you’re a mom of five kids under six, including two kindergartners?

In this episode of Wellness Farm Chat, I’m sharing what our homeschool days look like right now — slow mornings, gentle rhythms, lots of hands-on learning, and very little pressure. We talk about crafts with glue guns, Play-Doh, LEGO builds, reading piles of books and Bible stories, outdoor time, chores, and kids learning alongside me in the kitchen.

Our days are simple and home-centered: staying in, inviting friends over for coffee and playdates, and incorporating weekly painting and sewing projects. This is homeschooling for early childhood — rooted in connection, creativity, and real life.

If you’re homeschooling young children, feeling unsure if you’re doing enough, or longing for a slower, more peaceful homeschool rhythm, this episode is for you.

  • 102 | Am I a Trad Wife?
    Jan 19 2026

What is a trad wife anyway — and why is everyone suddenly talking about it?

In this episode of Wellness Farm Chat, I dive into the internet’s favorite (and most misunderstood) label: the trad wife. We talk about where the term came from, what it actually means, what people think it means, and where my life as a homesteading mom of five overlaps… and where it definitely doesn’t.

From milking cows and raising meat birds to homeschooling, postpartum life, and choosing to stay home — this is a funny, honest, and non-preachy conversation about motherhood, traditional roles, and why real life looks nothing like an aesthetic reel.

Whether you’re curious, confused, supportive, skeptical, or just here for the chaos — this one’s for you.

  • 101 | Surviving the First Month With 5 Kids Under 5 (Postpartum Life & Real Mom Survival)
    Jan 14 2026

The first month with five children under the age of five is intense, humbling, and completely life-changing. In this episode, I’m sharing an honest look at what the first month postpartum has been like in our home — how we’re surviving, what I’m prioritizing, and what I’ve completely let go of in this season of motherhood.

I talk about how my husband taking two weeks off work made a huge difference, the importance of accepting help from family, and why lowering expectations is sometimes the most loving thing you can do for yourself. I also share how I’m teaching my older kids to be more independent — from making their own breakfasts to helping out while I’m holding the baby — and how that shift has changed our daily rhythm.

If you’re in the thick of postpartum life, navigating multiple young children, or simply need reassurance that survival is success, this episode is for you. This is real motherhood, imperfect days, and learning to give yourself grace in the busiest season yet.
