Widow's Bay Season 1 Episode 6, “Our History,” takes us back to 1702 to uncover the disturbing history of Widow's Bay—and Sarah Westcott is learning very quickly that marrying Richard Warren may have been a terrible decision.
Laura and Lauren recap and review the episode as Sarah arrives on the island, marries Widow's Bay's first mayor, and discovers that the town is in the middle of a terrifying plague. As Richard's increasingly disturbing behavior raises questions, Sarah learns about missing wives, disappearances, a mysterious covenant, and the strange power Richard seems to have over the island.
We also get attempted assassination, a very questionable wedding night, secret tunnels, the return of the basement, the well, and some extremely creepy clues about what Richard Warren really is. And yes, we're still wondering about those damn teeth.
Plus, we talk about Sarah's terrible decision-making, Richard's uncanny ability to survive things that should absolutely kill him, the show's sense of humor, and our theories about the connection between Richard, the plague, the mushrooms, and the island.
Join us for our Widow's Bay Episode 6 recap, review, theories, and plenty of “...Ope” moments.
