I was excited to welcome Jon Kuiper to the podcast! Jon (@jwkimages) is an Alaska-based photographer who also specializes in bear guiding and fly fishing. Jon’s love of photography was born from a passion for all things nature.Through his guide services and photo work, Jon helps people connect with the wilderness on an intimate and personal level. His goal is to inspire people to conserve and protect the wilderness and wildlife he loves so much.

He shared his journey to wildlife photography and guiding in Alaska and also gave us expert tips on visiting Alaska, ethical photography practices, and travel ideas, and he shared his beautiful images.

Her degrees in art history and her role at the National Museum of Wildlife Art give her a unique perspective, and it shows in her work. Whether it’s capturing unique wildlife experiences in the landscapes of Grand Teton National Park or creating stunning portraits for couples and families, Madison has a way of seeing light and mood that I just love.
