We live in a world that teaches us to look outside ourselves for answers. But what if the clarity we’re seeking has been within us all along? On Wise, Sharon Hoffman explores what it means to re-orient to a deeper understanding of ourselves and the nature of life — living from wisdom rather than fear, conditioning, or old patterns. Through real conversations drawn from live sessions with a global audience, listeners discover how clarity emerges when we reconnect with our inner truth. Each episode explores the questions that shape our lives — relationships, purpose, uncertainty, fulfillment, identity, and the deeper patterns beneath them. Wise is about remembering what we already know.© 2026 Sharon Hoffman Philosophy Self-Help Social Sciences Success

  • How to Speak Your Truth When Relationships Get Difficult
    Oct 13 2026

What if being true to ourselves doesn't have to create distance in our relationships? What if it can actually bring us closer?

In this episode of Wise, Sharon speaks with two women who are learning to navigate their relationships by listening to their inner knowing, honoring their own truth, and discovering new ways of connecting with the people in their lives.

In the first conversation, a mother wonders how to remain true to herself while navigating differences with her teenager and others. Reflecting on how parenting has changed since her own childhood, she questions how to set boundaries while helping her child develop good judgment and independence. Together, she and Sharon explore a different approach to parenting—one grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and helping young people discover their own inner wisdom rather than simply telling them what to do.

In the second conversation, a woman asks how to recognize and trust her intuition. As she learns to distinguish her inner yes from her inner no, she discovers a lifelong fear. In a follow-up conversation, she shares how she puts this new awareness into practice with a friend she has been considering distancing herself from. Rather than retreating or remaining silent, she finds the courage to speak honestly—and discovers, to her surprise, that expressing her truth actually deepens their friendship.

These conversations explore authentic communication, parenting, intuition, self-trust, overcoming fear, healthy boundaries, and the surprising ways our relationships can grow when we honor our own truth while remaining open and curious about the truth of others.

  • Looking Within: Men, Relationships, and Recovery
    Oct 6 2026

Sometimes the most important change isn't immediately leaving a situation or fixing what's wrong. It's becoming aware enough to recognize an old pattern while we're still inside it.

In this episode of Wise, Sharon speaks with a man from the UK who begins by asking how to recognize a codependent relationship. His partner has been sober for 500 days, yet as he reflects on their relationship, he recognizes signs of a familiar pattern: once again, he may be stepping into the role of rescuer.

This time, however, something is different. He has developed the ability to witness himself—to notice when something doesn't feel right and become curious about what that feeling is telling him rather than automatically continuing an old pattern. Together, they explore how he can listen to those signals, remain connected to himself, and navigate his relationship without taking responsibility for another person's journey.

A man from Australia then joins the conversation and shares his own experience with sobriety, recovery, and relationships. Having once found himself in rescuer dynamics as well, he describes the ongoing process of looking honestly at himself, learning who he is, and making different choices. Today, he is in a healthy marriage and offers a powerful reflection on what becomes possible when self-awareness begins to change the way we relate to ourselves and to the people we love.

Together, these two men speak openly about sobriety, rescuing, relationships, and the courage it takes to look honestly at our own patterns. Their stories remind us that awareness itself creates choice: when we can witness what we're doing, we no longer have to automatically repeat what we've done before.

  • Small Inner Shifts That Change Our Lives
    Sep 29 2026

What if meaningful change doesn't have to be difficult? Sometimes the smallest choices we make from within change our lives.

In this episode of Wise, Sharon speaks with three women who tune inward, listen to their inner knowing, and allow that deeper voice to guide the choices they make in everyday life.

In the first conversation, a woman reflects on being drawn toward music and movies that bring long-held emotions to the surface. Rather than identifying with the pain that arises, she allows herself to experience it and let it move through her. Reflecting on childhood trauma and marriage to an alcoholic husband, she shares how Al-Anon and the beginning of a spiritual path help her recognize that she cannot change another person—only how she shows up for herself. In that realization, she begins to trust her inner knowing and turn within for answers.

The next two conversations bring this practice into the smallest moments of daily life. One woman describes spending the day noticing how listening within changes even her simplest choices and reconnects her with what she calls her inner sparkle. Another recognizes a familiar family dynamic unfolding with her sister and, rather than taking the bait, gets quiet and changes how she responds. The dynamic shifts without her forcing anything—and she discovers just how simple change can sometimes be.

These conversations explore inner knowing, self-trust, emotional healing, resilience, family dynamics, everyday choices, and the profound shifts that can happen when we stop forcing change and begin listening to what feels true within us.
