The movie takes this premise very seriously, while drawing potentially dangerous parallels to the very real struggles of trans and queer folk. We discuss the bonkers film after we spend some time musing on the title of "plant gay" and whether or not Ben's 7-day-no-plant-killing streak qualifies him as one.
