"I won't let go, even if you say so"

This week, Evan torments* Alex with the debut solo album by The Wonder Years' Dan Campbell (in-character under the moniker of Aaron West and the Roaring Twenties) We Don't Have Each Other. Dan eschews his trademark pop-punk sound for a more folk-rock/roots aesthetic, whilst delivering a linear narrative primarily dealing with the aftermath of the divorce of a couple. The tracks also explore themes of isolation, guilt, despair, indecision, addiction and grief.

    "It's not in my mind"

This week, Alex shows Evan Swans' genre-defying, iconic (and some would argue) signature reformation album, The Seer. Join us as we go track by track over this apocalyptic tapestry of doom, destruction, decay and... dare we say... hope?
