• Jeepers Creepers (2001)
    May 12 2026

Despite not getting covered on a whole lot of podcasts due to the nefarious past of it's director Jeepers Creepers still holds a well established place in the horror community.

Even we remembered this being a lot of fun to watch. The early 00s tale of mind your own business as brother and sister stumble on a supernatural serial killer and decide to go investigate.

This viewing has raised some questions for both of us though as behind the funny moments with the cat lady and the ridiculousness of the psychic character something darker seems to be lurking.

Check out our full thoughts and hear what listeners have to say in 3 Word Review and Voicemails not to mention the comparison game that proves the Creeper is less original than people think.

  • Pumpkinhead (1988)
    May 5 2026

This week long time friend of me and Marc jumps in for some 80's madness as Heather comes to visit.

Pumpkinhead is the topic of conversation as we dive into bad parenting, dirt biking teens and the spirit of vengeance.

The film follows a basic premise very well, boy killed in accident, vengeful father seeks out witch, witch summons evil demon to kill teens responsible, father regrets his decision, father vs monster... This one is a banger (well one of us thinks that) the other two praise practical effects but take issues with the overall plot and it's directions.

This episode features a full review discussion, interactive features and the most frustrating game in all of podcasting "Mettdown"

Be sure to drop that 5* review and of course go and give our guest a follow.

    Apr 28 2026

New release day today and we are joined by one half of The Girl & The Gay Podcast, This Girl Loves Horror herself, Becky!

We are covering the brand new release of Ready or Not 2. A direct follow on sequel that sees Grace back in another game of hide and seek this time accompanied by her estranged sister Faith.

With an all star cast leading the charge this film is a exciting romp from start to finish. Heavy on the gore, while keeping the plot simple and engaging.

This episode features our review, listener thoughts and our incredibly frustrating quiz "Meltdown" that Becky take on.

So don't Run, run, run, find a place and hide... instead take a listen and join in the game.

  • Blade (1998)
    Apr 21 2026

This week we take you back to the late 90's and the proof of concept that gave birth to the MCU as we know it today.

Blade follows "The Daywalker" a half vampire, half human as he tracks down and ends vampires across the globe. In this his very first on screen adventure he is up against Frost a new breed vampire with desires to resurrect the blood god and take over the world.

To survive Blade will need all the help he can get in the form of Whistler (his mentor and father figure) and Karen a nurse he saved from a vampire attack at the hospital.

This episode is a lot of fun as we relive all the one liners, all the action and all the terrible CGI that are packed into this film. It6 also has interactive features and a game you can play along with at home.

Trust us when we say this is one not to miss!

  • Brightburn (2019)
    Apr 14 2026

What if Clark Kent didn't follow "Truth, justice & the American way" and instead said "Take the World"?

Well that is the question that is fully and satisfyingly answered in this all Gunn affair from 2019. With James Gunn as a producer, his brother as a director and cousin as a writer this really is Avengers level collaboration.

The film follows the same premise as the Superman origin story. A couple who can't have children find a child in a crashed spaceship and raise them as their own. only this time he is bad. Really, REALLY bad.

True nightmare fuel in some scenes coupled with full action sequences in others, this is an underrated gem that deserves all the love we shower it with.

Also features "Cover notes" but only from us as for the first time in a long time interactive features were placed on hold as you failed to agree on the movie. There is also a cool super hero guessing game that surprisingly Marc is actually good at (ish)

Anyway if you love superhero movies or horror or both this is an episode not to miss out on.

  • The Faculty (1998)
    Apr 7 2026

BP Is back! We love having BP of The Let's Talk Horror Channel on the show and this is the perfect film for him to join us.

We follow a group of teens as they try to uncover and stop an alien invasion via the faculty lounge. A film that has a cast to die for and some top tier practical effects. This is one that I think people are beginning to forget about too so this episode should remind everyone how good it is.

Also we have interactive features and BP takes on our hard quiz Meltdown.

  • Ghost Ship (2002)
    Mar 31 2026

A dive into Ghost Ship was more enjoyable that we anticipated as we realised this is an over hated gem in the world of 2000's horror movies.

Steller casting across the board with some now very famous faces making early career appearances. Effects hold up better than a lot of more modern films for the most part. This film was a real delight.

Not to mention the parallels we managed to draw between this, The Shining and Event Horizon or all the interactive features that fill the episode.

This is (as always) one not to be missed.

  • Scream 7 (2026)
    Mar 24 2026

The most discussed and dividing film of a generation (if not all time)

Scream 7 follows Sidney Prescott and her family as they navigate a new team of Ghostface killers. With a heavily integrated AI plot and some returning characters we were convinced we were never seeing again.

This episode we dive into the film, judging it on what was on screen, not what we expected (or hoped for) and not getting caught up in all of the controversy that led to this new direction. Just an old fashioned review of the film we were presented.

We also have interactive features like 3-Word Review, Meme's to make you mad and an impromptu edition of our very hard quiz Meltdown (Scream edition)
