  • Self-Sabotage After You Say Yes: Why Your Nervous System Is Running the Show

    In this episode:

    A few weeks ago I surprised my husband with a fully nude cave tour. Yes, on purpose. Yes, with strangers. And then I spent the next two weeks slowly losing my mind about it — looking for loopholes, googling stomach bugs, building an entire case for why I should cancel the thing I had booked.

    Here's the catch: the storyline didn't protect me from anything. The cave still happened. My brain just piled two weeks of extra suffering on top of a yes I had already given. And this is exactly what I watch women do in their businesses every single day — they book the coach, say yes to the thing, then catastrophize their way through it. All AFTER the yes. All extra suffering piled on something they already chose.

    In this episode, I'm breaking down why your fear doesn't stop the thing (it just narrates it), why "I'm not good enough/it's not working" is a regulation problem wearing a thought costume, and what actually collapses the spiral—because if thinking was enough, we'd all be grounded and rich as fuck by now.
