How can time with God be a source of peace in a loud and distracting world? As they inhabit the art of resting in God’s presence, prayer becomes not only a place of seeking, but becoming.

Story1
You are in the process of becoming. Every day is an opportunity to be shaped and formed by what moves your heart, drives your thoughts, and captures your gaze. Is it any wonder that where you direct your eyes and your heart matter in your day-to-day? We become what we behold when we set our hearts and minds on Christ and His redemption story here in the details of our daily lives - not just on Sunday, not just on holidays, not just when extraordinarily hard or wonderful things happen...but today.

Beholding. A podcast simply endeavouring to seek out what God is like. Johan takes you on a journey through the various descriptions the Bible gives us about what is God like. What are his likes and dislikes? What does he think and feel? What kinds of things does he do, and what does he do them? What’s his personality like? This is not about opinions or experiences. It is simply about exploring every little attribute of God that we can find in scripture.Who is this man, this Holy One whom we are following?

2 Co 3:18. "we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit." Many have believed, taught, and preached Christ in a way that is burdensome to the hearer, and that does not lead to rest and peace and joy - things that Jesus himself has promised. The gospel calls the sinner to receive, not to earn, to rest and not to work, to behold and be transformed into his image. I want to help others behold Christ in the gospel, experience rest, and thus be transformed!
