The fifth in my series of audiobooks of highlights from my printed books. This one is 120 minutes from I'm Coming to Take You to Lunch, the story of how I arranged for Wham!, whom I managed, to go and play in China. This is Part One of the book.

Volume One features stories from "You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me", a book I wrote in 1983 about my time in London in the Sixties when, amongst other things, I was managing the Yardbirds and wrote the lyrics to the song, "You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me".

With Chris Bell at the center of the Big Star universe, this book carefully reveals the production of the band's masterful 1972 debut LP, #1 Record, for Ardent/Stax Records. Despite stellar reviews, the record suffered abysmal sales. Soon after, toxic personality conflicts and turmoil tore the band apart while Bell battled drug abuse and depression.

Audio Snaps is a series of 100-minute audio books, each featuring a dozen or so stories from each of my five books. Black Vinyl White Powder is a bit different from the other books in that it was written as a continuous narrative moving through story after story.
