Während seiner Reise über den Atlantik wird Phileas Fogg das Opfer einer Verschwörung. Inmitten eines Sturms geht er unfreiwillig über Bord. Sein Leben hängt an einem seidenen Faden, als endlich das Auftauchen eines Schiffes Rettung verspricht. Fogg wird aus den Fluten geborgen, muss allerdings schnell erkennen, dass er geradewegs in die Hölle geraten ist. Denn das Schiff heißt Ghost und ihr Kapitän Wolf Larsen, der berüchtigte Seewolf. Währenddessen begeben sich Aouda und ihr Diener Passepartout auf die Suche nach Phileas Fogg.
