Tom's life changed quite a bit since he inherited a Ghost Train full of living dead creatures. As the fairground is struck by mysterious earthquakes, even Mimi the ghost-girl seems to pale. Vlarad the Vampire has reason to believe that a restless poltergeist haunts the old town square. So, Tom and his undead friends have to go ghost-hunting - without anyone noticing, of course.

Falcon Quinn survived the first term at the Academy for Monsters along with his monstrous friends Max, Pearl, Mortia, and the rest. He has finally discovered his monster nature and is working hard to embrace it. But what does it mean to be an Angel, exactly?

Tom ist verwundert: Warum lädt man ihn zu einem Dinner auf eine Burg ein? Wieso soll er unbedingt eine Begleitung "aus dem Team der "Schreckensfahrt" mitbringen? Und warum schnüffelte der Großvater des Gastgebers schon vor etwa hundert Jahren in der Geisterbahn herum? Wenn Tom herausfinden will, was dahintersteckt, muss er die Einladung wohl oder übel annehmen. Mit den anderen illustren Gästen hätten er und seine Begleitung Dada allerdings nicht im Traum gerechnet.
