The Book of Enoch describes the fall of a group of angels called the Watchers, who married the daughters of men and fathered the Nephilim (Genesis 6: 1-2). The Book of Jubilees, also known as The Little Genesis and The Apocalypse of Moses, reveals heaven's viewpoint of history. The Book of Jasher deals with the antediluvian patriarchs, angels, watchers, the flood, the tower of Babel and other events mentioned in the Bible.

The Book of Jubilees, sometimes called 'Little Genesis', is an ancient Jewish book that retells many of the stories in Genesis and Exodus with some additional details. It has been known in the West only since the 1840s, when European travellers acquired manuscripts from monasteries in Ethiopia. Then, in 1949, a complete Hebrew manuscript was found amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls. It is considered canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and one of the pseudepigrapha by Protestant, Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches.

The Book of Jubilees, often referred to as Lesser Genesis (Leptogenesis), is an ancient Jewish religious text comprising 50 captivating chapters. It holds a special place as canonical scripture within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church and among Beta Israel (Ethiopian Jews), where it is known as the Book of Division (Geez መጽሃፈ ኩፋሌ Metshafe Kufale). The books of Genesis, Jubilees, and Jasher contain largely the same narrative, with the Genesis account of the Bible ending roughly at Jubilees 46:8 and at Jasher 59:28. However, the latter two books also include several striking deviations from Genesis which are quite revealing from a biblical standpoint. We believe that hearing them in this type of synchronized format allows for much more clarity in terms of perceiving both subtle and overt differences in the three narratives.
