Anna Bellini, commissario di polizia, e Giada Santini, ufficiale dei servizi segreti, riescono a salvare Nicola Maceratini e il capitano dei carabinieri Tommaso Sauro, il quale si occupa di recupero opere d'arte. Anna ottiene un incontro a casa di Vittorio Spada, ma, quando va a trovarlo, la situazione degenera.

Il commissario Anna Bellini è invischiata nel caso Roveda più di quanto mai avrebbe pensato. E' lei la chiave del mistero. Oggi Marcella vive col marito Renzo Simonetti.
