Amelia and Sam are bunny-sitting over the Easter holidays! Their friend's pet rabbit has had babies – and they all need new homes. Sylvester is a rock collector. One day he finds a magic pebble that makes wishes come true. He rushes home to share his good fortune with his parents. On the way, he’s frightened by a hungry lion and quickly asks the pebble to turn him into a rock, so the lion can’t eat him. It works - but there sits Sylvester on Strawberry Hill with no way to hold the pebble to wish himself back into a donkey. Seasons come and go as Sylvester’s parents desperately search for him....

Höchste Zeit, eine neue Unterkunft zu finden, sagt sich das Apfelmännchen und macht sich auch sofort auf die Suche. Alle helfen mit, basteln Plakate und hören sich im Garten um. Doch das Nest der Elster, das der Vogel Spargelzahn anbietet, ist viel zu weit oben im Baum. Und die Wohnung des kleinen Puck ist von zankenden Nachbarn umgeben. Fast will der Apfelmann schon aufgeben, da bekommt er doch noch den entscheidenden Tipp!

Eines Morgens verhalten sich einige Tiere, die mit ihr auf dem Schloss wohnen sehr merkwürdig: Eine Gans läuft bellend über den Schlosshof und die Pferde gackern wie Hühner. Was ist nur passiert? Hier kommt die Figur des kleinen Kobolds Saticilef ins Spiel. Er macht der Fee das Leben manchmal ganz schön schwer. Und diesmal hat er die Tiere verzaubert. Zum Glück findet die kleine Fee Felicitas die Lösung im Zauberbuch der Großmutter. Wenn ihr für jedes Tier das passende Lied einfällt, dann kann sie die Tiere wieder erlösen.

Im Garten von Petronella Apfelmus ist die Aufregung groß: Ein Kaninchen hat ein Loch in den Hühnerauslauf gebuddelt - und nun fühlen sich Nofretete & Co nicht mehr sicher in ihrem Stall! Tatsächlich ist die Sorge nicht unbegründet: Als es dunkel wird, kommt der alte Fuchs mit knurrendem Magen vorbei, um sich eins der Hühner zu schnappen. Wie gut, dass Apfelhexe Petronella mit ihrem Zauberstab nicht weit ist. Und so nimmt eine aufregende Nacht mit der vereinten Hilfe aller Gartenbewohner dann doch noch ein gutes Ende.
