Margherita Maria Alacoque (1647-1690) è stata una monaca e mistica francese canonizzata nel 1920. La notorietà di Margherita Maria Alacoque è dovuta al fatto che le rivelazioni che ella racconta di aver ricevuto porteranno allo sviluppo del culto e all'istituzione della solennità liturgica del Sacro Cuore di Gesù.
