Dr. Ivor Powell was born in Crosskeys, Monmouth, Wales. Following his conversion, he attended South Wales Bible Training Institute. He was ordained as a minister of the Baptist Union in Wales in 1934 and began his pastoral ministry in Barry, Glamorganshire, Wales. His ministry has taken him to all parts of the English-speaking world and in 1971 Trinity College honored him with a D.D. degree. Known internationally as “the Man from Wales,” Dr. Powell is a master of the art pictorial preaching and teaching.

Evangelist Dr. Ed Ballew was born in 1924 and was was called to preach in 1946 while in the US Army. After pastoring several churches in Tennessee, Georgia and Florida, he went on to become a renowned worldwide evangelist. He and his wife were also the founders of the Rock of Ages Prison Ministry; a prison ministry that is still impacting inmates lives to this day the world over. In 2010, after preaching for 64 years and seeing thousands of souls saved and lives changed through his ministry, Bro. Ballew went home to be with the Lord.

Missionary / Evangelist Dr. Melvin Biggs was converted to Christ after his distinguished service in Vietnam. His work as an evangelist has taken him to over 50 countries. For decades, his ministry (Abundant Life Ministries) has led mission endeavors into many southeast Asian countries (many of which are closed to any kind of Christian gospel work), planting churches, training ministers, establishing orphanages, and distributing Bible. He is a treasure to today’s church. He and his wife Pamela currently reside in Resaca, Georgia.
