The seven-foot-tall, iron-muscled leader of the Freedom Force, he headed the struggle to restore order after World War III plunged the Earth into chaos. But even Blade couldn’t save everyone from dying at the hands of the maniacs, murderers, and mutants who ranged the nuked-out land.

Searching for an old comrade, Blade hoped to sneak in and out of Mesaville without trouble. He didn’t know that Death Master had other plans for him that didn’t include leaving. Caught in a trap, Blade had to destroy Mesaville to save his life – and civilization.
