Wenn ich sie in guter Begleitung, angeführt von einem recht verständigen Manne, vor fünfzehn Jahren gesehen hätte, wollte ich mich glücklich preisen. Sollte ich sie aber allein, mit eignen Augen sehen und besuchen, so ist es gut, dass mir diese Freude so spät zuteil ward. Über das Tiroler Gebirg bin ich gleichsam weggezogen.
